Our goal here at OMCC is to provide you...our valued customers with the finest accommodations in the Hocking Hills.

We are happy to announce the installation of New Hot Tubs in cabins; Blackjack,Hemlock,Ravine, Timber Ridge , Oakridge, Sycamore, Cumberland , Aspen, Dogwood, Falls, Laurelwood, Pine Cone, Hawk's Peak and Chalets 3, 6, 8,15,16 & 18.

Lilyfest - July 9-11 - Cost: Free - Donations accepted for parking! Times: Friday 11:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m; Saturday 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.; Sunday 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. If you love art, gardens & music, come enjoy the lovely woodland setting at scenic Bishop Educational Gardens, 13200 Little Cola Rd., Rockbridge, OH. Please do not bring pets!

Hand-Feeding Hummingbirds - Cost: Free - Time: 1:00 -3:00 p.m. Every Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday thru August 31st. Lake Hope State Park: Participants can make a feeder and attempt to hand-feed Hummingbirds. Meet at the Nature Center.

Concerts in the Park - Friday Evenings thru August 27th. Cost: Free - Time: 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Summer Concert series in its 18th season features a different band every Friday Evening. Bring lawn chairs for seating. Local Churches will sell food and beverages in the park. Visit 1800Hocking.com for details.
 

This is our second time here at Chalet #1.  The first was our honeymoon and we only stayed one night!  One night is a teaser, just enough to make you want more!  This time we stayed Sunday thru Thursday, and it was still a teaser....so much to see and do.  We recommend seeing it ALL!  Old Man's Cave, Rockbridge, Rock House, Cantwell Cliffs Conkle's Hollow, Ash Cave, all soooo scenic and beautiful!  I am hoping it won't be another five years before we return!

We did take a suggestion from another guest and had "a fried Bologna" sandwich at the Home Tavern, it was GREAT!!  We would also suggest the 'Animal Fries' and 'Corn Nuggets'!!

Another Tip:  At night turn out the lights in the Chalet except for the Hot Tub light and maybe a few candles...enjoy the reflections in the Skylight!!! Awesome!
