We come to Old Man’s
Cave Chalets every year for our anniversary.
My husband asked if I ever get tired of
coming to the same place… My response was
simple. I pointed out past the deck to the
beauty you can only see here. No I don’t get
tired of coming here. To me: it’s a piece of
heaven we can experience here on Earth. See
you next year.

3rd Trip
This is
our 3rd trip to Old Man’s Cave
Chalets. It’s beautiful and quiet here and
we find it to be the perfect stress-reducing
getaway. Some highlight of our trip:
-Old Man’s Cave State park… for the
beautiful scenery and well-maintained
hiking-trials, winter or summer.
-Lots of time in the hot tub… of course!
-Local Restaurants… LJ’s Diner is the best
place for breakfast!
We plan on returning to
Old Man’ Cave Chalets again for another
perfect vacation!

First Trip to the Hocking Hills
This was our first trip
to the Hocking Hills and we loved it! We
truly enjoyed staying at Old Man’s Cave
Chalets and we think that Woodland Suite #1
is the best because of the phenomenal view
of the woods from the back deck. We saw a
deer leisurely stroll by within the first
five minutes of being here.
There
is so much to see and do! We really enjoyed
hiking and seeing the sights at Old Man’s
Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave and the Rock
House. Canoeing was great too!
We hope
you enjoy your time here as much as we did!

Birthday Surprise
I
brought my boyfriend here as a surprise for
his birthday. Woodland Suite #1 was
recommended by the staff for privacy and boy
were they right! The view from the back deck
was amazing! It rained during nearly our
entire stay but that only made the hot tub
that much more enjoyable. Since this was my
first time to Old Man’s Cave Chalets, so I
didn’t know what to expect, but this is more
that I could have hoped for.
I
planned a Canopy Tour as part of his
surprise and felt disappointed when it
continued to rain on our way there, but
after zipping in the rain I wouldn’t have
changed a thing. The experience was awesome
and I highly recommend it!
I plan
on returning as soon as I can because 2
nights simply isn’t enough to experience all
that the area has to offer! I hope you enjoy
your stay as much as we did ours!

Romantic Trip
This is our first time
staying at OMCC and we have had a fantastic
time. We wish we could stay longer. My
boyfriend and I came for our 2 year
anniversary and I think that this place
offers the best setting for a romantic trip!
We hiked until our feet hurt, but it was
well worth it; lots of adventures and
wonderful pictures! We also discovered the
best way to enjoy the hot tub is with all of
the above lights off and the hot tub lights
on (and the fan running so you don’t
overheat). Loved our stay and we will
definitely come back!
